n92. Telephone subscriber lines

Typical cable impedance for a 0.6mm cu telephone subscriber cable.



Lumped equivalent to standard subscriber lines in Europe (770ohm and 47nF on 800Hz).
(or my experience for setting up 2W/4W telephone equipment for minimum return from the subscriber line)
It is my experience that the extra 47nF capacitor adds a lot to the balance when 2W/4W-hybrids are used to channel equipment.
